Twitter Training

With regard to using Twitter to start creating an internet presence for marketing should you use your name or a username? If I have different products I am presuming I need to create different ID's. Should I use the same username in Facebook, Youtube, etc to keep it all consistent.

Username can be different ya! It can be a cool wacky username. Besides, the name you've been using on FB, YouTube, etc. may not be available on Twitter. So it's best to keep a different username.

I have a Sprint LG Rumor
I have tried multiple times to activate it. But it never works.
Why is this?

I have a Sprint LG Rumor, too, and I had problems with this, too. I don't pay for the data plan so I don't use my phone's web brower or an app to update, I use SMS.

Go here to link you're phone to twitter: http://twitter.com/devices

When entering your phone number, don't forget to put a +1 in front of your area code, so it should look like this: +10005556666

Then, text the activacation code to 40404.

Refresh the twitter devices page. (http://twitter.com/devices)

It may take a couple minutes (so refresh every minute or so), but the screen should show your phone number at the top, have a drop down menu for asking if you want your device updates on, and a sleep mode.

I'm looking to buy Twitter followers to boost my numbers to and market to…anyone know where I can get some? And prices, if possible>

There are a few places online, but the best and cheapest that I know of is by going to http://usocial.net/twitter_marketing — these guys specialize in social media marketing so know what they're talking about.

With price, they charge $87 for 1,000 followers and up to $497 for 10,000, though when you compare this with a competitor who charges $700 for only 4,000 followers you should see how good they are.
