I seem to have one, solitary, lone robin. He never did move into any of the birdhouses. Poor thing, I keep expecting him to bring his wife round for a visit but I haven’t seen one yet. When he arrived in April he came alone and I expected his wife to come in a week or two. We had a horrible snowstorm the week he arrived and I have a picture of him fluffed up and grumpy on one of the garden birdbath fountains. But for some reason he seems to be all alone still. He doesn’t socialize much with the others but hangs around for meals and swimming in the birdbath fountain. I occasionally go to the bait store and buy him worms, these I put in the shade with a little dirt in a dish with sides (so they can’t escape). He thinks these are a wonderful treat.

Have you ever listened to a Stellar’s Jay? I know they can be loud and raucous but take the time to listen when they are talking to themselves. They chirrup and twitter and sing the sweetest little songs sort of under their breath and not very loud, it’s quite pleasant.

The jays can be such bullies, they are forever chasing everyone else away from the wooden birdfeeders and the garden birdbath fountain. I have found that I can distract them with peanuts (their absolute favorites) while everyone else is eating at the ornamental bird feeders. The jays take a peanut fly somewhere hide the peanut and come back for more. Then they have to go and remember where they put their stash. This keeps them busy for hours and out of the way.

One thing they love to do is set the decorative bird feeders spinning so that seed goes flying out all over the yard. I think they have an agreement with the doves to make sure there is enough seed on the ground for them. This also makes it easier for the other jays and they don’t have to fight over a perch on the birdfeeder. It’s really pretty funny to watch what they are up to at any given moment.

<p>I have been working online since the beginning of 2005 after starting my marketing career offline a few years before that. I love making money online and the idea that I can be on holiday in an exotic location and have to just answer a few emails is what I would call real bliss. At the end of the day to run an online business and make serious money online all you need is a working laptop/computer and an internet connection.

 

<p>I remember back in 2005 sat in a internet café on holiday in Lanzarote checking on my emails as I was selling numerous information products on eBay and was making sure that everything was ticking over whilst I was enjoying myself. It is also the idea that you don’t need to have any staff in order to run your own business. The idea that I can work solid one day and then take two days off is certainly the biggest thrill that it offers me.

 

<p>I have several different streams of income that allow me to make money online. Some are better than others as they take less time and energy. Those that you have to put the extra effort into are always the most rewarding just because of the pain and passion that has gone into the creation.

 

<p>Here is a list of my best ways to make money online:

 

<p>One page information sites: This is where you create a one page site of information that people will need to know on a daily basis and cover it from head to toe in Adsense. To be able to make a decent profit you want to have at least a hundred of these and they require absolutely no maintenance and can be forgotten for years to come. They could cover things like maps for holiday destinations, calendars, local area events or even software that people are desperate to get their hands on.

 

<p>Affiliate Marketing: Just by writing a review for someone else’s product can seriously increase the amount of money into your PayPal account. Aim for products that are new and not those that have already been oversaturated in the market as you want a prime position in Google. If you own a website why not include a couple of banners or a review on a customers download page.

 

<p>Blogging: I personally love Blogging and if you can write a simple Blog Post there is lots of money waiting for you. Create small little niche sites with lots of Adsense and make sure that your Blog Posts reflect what is being currently searched in the search engines and you have it made. When your Blogs are doing well and you are earning a regular income from it you can get Blog posts written for you for a rather low amount so in effect you can have an automated business with very little work involved.

 

<p>Article Writing: Just by writing 5 articles a day and then have a link through to one of your products can seriously increase your sales. They say that if you do write 25 a week so that’s 5 a day Monday to Friday you can expect to make $1000 in your first 30 days. However as your popularity grows and your reputation increases for being a accomplished writer you will earn much more than this.

 

<p>Forum Marketing: This is my personal favourite you just NEVER knock the ability to build a business through the likes of internet forums. I use them most days and through answering a simple question and telling the person that I am replying to that they can find the answer on my Blog I can add over 100 clicks in a matter of minutes. This can work in any niche too and doesn’t just have to be associated with the make money online niche.

 

<p>Social Marketing: This has to be the most powerful way of gaining traffic through to your products and services. As a member of many of them including Twitter, FaceBook, Digg, StumbleUpon and Yahoo Answers I have seen first hand how much they can help your business day in day out. By answering a quick question on Yahoo about Hostgator I can create at least $200 in affiliate commission. Using bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon and Digg has had an amazing affect on the amount of sales that I have received and placed me in the search engines a lot quicker than I could have possibly imagined.

 

<p>I have now provided you with five excellent ways to make money online. I have to say without a doubt even though these are not the only ways they are my best ways to make money online. Just think about which ones are yours!

I am new to twitter, and not sure how to use it/it’s exact purpose? lol was just bored & decided to sign up.

Twitter too be honest is just like Myspace mood status if you have a Myspace. It just tells people what your doing. The goal of most Tweeters is too get 8312482 people following them. Alot of Celeb’s commonly use this. So you can stay up too date with them. Also alot of companies use Twitter.
So in conclusion Twitter is just a big contest, and also used too stay up to date with your friends and celebs ;D

So, I guess you’re finally ready to give up free advertising and pay for highly targeted traffic. That’s okay, although I’m not sure you want to make that step quite yet. Please fist consider the following free ideas:

 

Have you tried writing in popular forums dealing with online business? These are a source of great tips and tricks, and you can promote your website with a default signature there.

 

Have you tried article marketing? Hundreds of article directories allow you to post articles to them for free. You can use these to create tons of back links.

 

Have you considered video marketing? High-quality videos get high traffic on Youtube.

 

Have you advertised your website on free-ad sites? Advertise wherever you can!

 

Have you bookmarked your website to popular spots such as Twitter, and Digg? It can’t hurt, and it is free!

 

Have you used all the methods listed at http://progressyourtraffic.com? Have you used any of the many free guides out there to make quality money and traffic?

 

If you answered yes to all these questions, and still feel that your website does not get great traffic and profit, then it is time to move on. Buying website traffic is a big step. It means you are willing to spend money with the risk of generating less money than spent.

 

When you buy traffic, you hope that you will make more money than you spend. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work out that way. Make sure your website is ready to transfer traffic into profit before you buy traffic. You want to take full advantage of your traffic before paying a cent for it. That means you should:

 

Set-up advertisements using Google Adsense. This provides a great way for your customers to view and click ads which earns you profit.

 

Promote products by affiliating. Affiliating is when you tell someone to buy another persons product. If they buy it, the owner of the product will pay you. The easiest way to do this is to use Clickbank, an online program were merchants list their products and affiliates sell them.

 

Set-up an easy way for visitors to become members of your site. You can then have forums and blogs for them to participate in. Advertise on these with Google Adsense for thousands of impressions and clicks. Also, send members news letters and emails promoting products.

 

Get your website properly equipped to receive traffic. That means have a lot of bandwidth to avoid server crashes.

 

Are all of these steps done? Then you are finally ready to buy guaranteed traffic. There are several ways to do this. It all depends on how automatic you want it. Do you want control over where stuff goes? Or do you want traffic to just flood in without you doing a thing? Here are some ways to buy traffic:

 

Use Google Adwords. Google Adwords is probably the most automatic guaranteed system. Google Adwords allows you to post advertisements to your site in Google searches and other sites. It is guaranteed because you pay only when your ad is clicked on.

 

Use automatic article producers. If you like article marketing, but are no good at it, then you can use programs to write and submit articles for you. Its great! The article wizard (see resource box) will write any article for you on almost any topic, regardless of your previous knowledge on that topic. The article mass producer (see resource box) will make thousands of copies of one article, and submit them to several article directories. This is very useful because it not only produces a ton of traffic to your website, but it also gives you a ton of back links, which will increase your page rank. I prefer using these programs over Google Adwords, because these require only a one time payment, where as Adwords requires several payments for more traffic.

 

Use bookmarking robots. Bookmarking robots are extremely useful. They increase your targeted traffic, back links, and page rank. They categorize your bookmarks into different tags to increase targeted traffic. Bookmarking demon (see resource box) is my favorite of all these programs. Bookmarking demon is not a spam tool, is designed for multiple site categories, only requires a one-time payment, and avoids the duplicate content problem. Also, the bookmarking demon is almost completely automatic, you just set it up and watch it go. However, if you find a better one, for a cheaper price, feel free to use that instead.

 

Most other methods for traffic are not guaranteed, but these re definitely not the only traffic methods you can use. Thanks for reading.

i have seen in bands pages that they have a small twitter box only displaying their latest tweet. their usually underneath the band members pictures.Where can i get it?

go on your twitter
click on settings at the top
then go down until you see "more info URL"
and you’ll see (You can also add Twitter to your site here)
you cant miss it; its in blue and hyperlink
click on it
and then just select myspace cause its for myspace
and then itll show the code to put on your myspace about me section:)

So, if you're a business owner and really want to be successful on Twitter, you must realize that you've got to engage and interact with others.

One of the best ways to do that is to not only engageract as I like to say, with your own followers, but with other people you may have not met yet.
