I was told I could work from home until the project wa completed and then I would work in the store.

I basically went over thier whole marketing strategy, website, seo, e-mail marketing, blog , discussed article writing basically i advised them on my project plan in detail on how they could save thousands of dollars annually, they stole my designs and ideas and hired someone else behind my back without paying me a dime. I turned down other jobs because i was under the assumption I was an employee on the clock these were significantly higher paying jobs as well, they made promises to me that i would be thier permament head of marketing department and filled my head with a bunch of fantasies that they never were going to go through with. They misled me and both owners played me like a fiddle one would tell me one thing while the other would act like they didnt know what was going on. They pretened like they didnt know about design and the web, in fact thier actually pretty saavy, they played me so good. I am furious and craigs list is filled with nothing but cheap scam artist trying to put one over on you.

I want to know what else I can legally do to these people as this is personal as they delibertly planned this out from day one and even after I had told them of my financial situation. I have a BA in information technology 11 years of web development experience a degree in graphic design and as a paralegal I was also trained on the job as a marketing professional, Seo expert and public relations. I am exstremely profecient in my field uo to date with all the latest trends.

I have been out of work not because I am not good at my job but because so many business are outsourcing thier It Projects oversees. I was applying for the retail job because thier are no web positions open in Bonita where i live. I was decieved and raped for my skills and these people were preying upon desperate workers. Thats why thier add for hire read as this " need a retail clerk with fashion since knowledge of twitter and facebook a plus’ why would a retail clerk need to know twitter or facebook?

that was so they could narrow down job canidates to web professionals such as myself and exploit them for there services. If i have typos its because I dont care just reply with advice thanks.

I beleive it is the same as hiring a plumber for retail and this getting him to divulge how he gets crap out of the toilet and this discard him without paying him an easy way for them to get free services without paying.

I reported them to the IRS, BBB, Rip off report, labor and wage division and the attorney generals office as well as osha and consumer and business protection advocate group.

I also sent them a bill and a disclosure of services that if they use my project plan any of my designs or ideas that I will take them to small claims court. If they dont pay me for the weeks of service in the sum of 5,000 im sending them to a collection agency.
Yes however I was hired as a hourly employee at first and tricked into developing a website – i never agreed to work as a sub contractor I have never been in a situation where I was hired as an employee but than later converted into marketing driector slash web developer as a hired employee, Freelance I usually ask for all the money upfront because clients want the world but never want to pay. i was caught off guard because i was hired a retail clerk not as a web designer I was never paid for either postition.

If they did not pay you for any of the web development work you did, then you are entitled to sue if they use your project plan or designs.

Alternatively you can claim for the hours you put in through small claims court but of course you need to submit your itemised time sheets to them first and give them an opportunity to pay.

But you cannot have it both ways. If they pay, the designs belong to them, if they don’t pay, the designs are yours. Be clear about what you are asking for or you will get nowhere.

You say you have years of IT experience and paralegal training, I am surprised that you do not know something so obvious.

It is one of the longest lasting wars that the US has been engaged in. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent.

Today Gen Petraeus took command — so the war is in the news. The large news organizations have heard of it.

But here on this 4th of July —- silence about that war. Not a single person has any comment, or question.

Is it so obvious to everybody that the war is a meritorious cause, that has made progress since nine years ago, that Karzai is a man of great righteousness, and if he wants to join the Taliban, as he says he does, that is his right?

Is it perfectly plain that the taxpayer is getting their money’s worth and that the war is not being fought entirely for the benefit of the big defense contractors?

Here’s what’s true — Petraeus said today that our purpose in Afghanistan is to prevent having that area be used as a sanctuary for terrorist training camps and planning attacks on the USA and other free nations.

OK, could terrorist training camps be visible from overhead viewing. If we can read the date on a dime, we can probably see a terrorist training camp, right? A camp is bigger than the date on a dime.

If we can find a camp where training is being done — isn’t there such a thing as missiles? Couldn’t we put fire and steel on the camp with missiles, or predators, or cruise missiles, or tomahawks, or ICBM’s or SLBM’s. I’ve seen pictures on TV of missiles, so I know there are such things. So why do we need to deploy troops on the ground in Afghanistan? What is our purpose? Is it to protect the local population from each other? Has any war ever been fought by any nation for such a purpose or is this the first one? Nation A goes to nation B 12,000 miles away, and fights a ground war to protect the local population from each other. Ever happen before? No? I wonder why not? Too crazy? Yeh, maybe.

Terrorist planning by the way is mostly done in apartments in Germany, not in caves in Afghanistan. You want a place where the lights go on when you flick the switch, and where you can order our for Pizza (but not with ham). Al Qaeda is poor, but not so poor that they can’t afford apartments in Germany, or other places. My point is that whether they are in caves or not in caves, there’s no reason to imagine that they would choose to do their planning in a place with such inadequate infrastructure as Afghanistan. Just getting food and water to them would attract much more attention in Afghanistan than in Hamburg.

So, this is a senseless war, with no valid purpose apart from income for the Big Contractors, who then send the envelopes to Capitol Hill. But it’s a war where 1% of the American people are being made to bear 100% of the dying costs and injury costs. So 99% of the People don’t have a stake, and don’t feel any interest in it as evidenced by this 4th of July on Yahoo where this is the only post that talks about it.

There’s been a generational change in USA. New values are in the hearts of the ipad/twitter people, who we used to call teeny boppers. Well, they are not teeny anymore, but they didn’t grow up to hold the same values that the old hippies did. On a day like today, with a war like Afghanistan going on, we would have a million people marching in Washington DC. We would peacefully and non-violently read out the names of the war dead. We would make political life hard for the government. They would have some policy explaining to do.

Now, who cares?
It’s surely not about the "blame game" in Washington DC, which party to blame, or which politician. We started in Afghanistan under Clinton who I’m sure you will recall fired four Tomohawks from an Aegis class Guided missile cruiser. These air breathers are easily visible, and they had to fly over several hundred miles of Pakistan (supposedly our allies), and people over there do have cellphones, so how long does it take Ali and Baba to scramble a few hundred yards and not be there when the missiles explode? Let’s say 5 minutes. And how long did they have of warning? About 30 minutes. Clinton never served, so he had absolutely no clue about the significance of surprize in winning military engagements. Or, maybe he really just didn’t want to hurt anybody. The gesture was symbolic not substantive.

Anyhow, blame is not where it’s at. The policy today is either correct and intelligent or incorrect and dumb. If dumb, then any person from any political party can gain credit by ending it

I just had a look, and it looks like you have made a big effort into setting it up, and setting up the categories etc.

One thing that I did pick up on, to make it look a little more professional, is that you need to correct a lot of your spelling errors. Spelling mistakes like "sorbolene" rather than "sorbaline", and be very careful about your use of "yours, and you’re" – you’ve misused these a couple of times on the bits that I’ve read as well. If you proofread everything that you put on there, and make sure you get it right, it will look at lot better.

Next thing, is that it takes time for a website to take-off. You just have to publicise it (Facebook, Twitter, and others that you mention are all good) and then encourage people you have shared it with to share it with their friends.

She claims he rides the same train with her and it was just small talk. He is a DJ or something and she is into the music he spins so she friended him on Facebook "to get updates about his parties". But it just came to my attention that he also has her email address and I came across an email where she sent him her blackberry pin the night before we took a road trip the Georgia last 4th of July Holiday. She claims this is how he sends out his promotions but it makes no sense to me at all. She also follows him on twitter so I am forced wo wonder why does she need all this contact with him if all she cares about are his parties? She always seems to get annoyed and defensive when I ask about him and their relationship and her response is always "There is nothing going on". I am totally uncomfortable with this because its someone she met indepently on a train. However when I first heard about this guy she told me they met through a mutual friend which I know. So the story of how they met changed. She recently got flowers at work and she claimed she thought they were from me. I kept telling her they are not from me but she brought them home anyway. After asking her over and over again who sent them, she told me she bought them for herself to make me jelous but that turned ot to be lie she told me to get me to stop asking about it. She insists she doesnt know who sent it, only that it had a card that said "Thank You" which is bugging me because clearly its no one from work. She insists she doesn’t know who sent them and i just don’t buy it at all. Also feel like there is more between her and this guy she met on the train. There are more than one occasion where I couldn’t account for her whereabouts. And timing of when she met this guy and when she started to tell me she isn’t happy and that she isn’t in love with me anymore is too coincidental. She goes out more now with her co-workers and 98% of the time I am the one at home taking care of our kids. The home and our girls’ needs seem to be secondary for her these days. HELP!

I walked down the hall. Same as always the merchants trying to sell the exact same thing with a different voice that advertised. I slipped the strap of my rifle up on my back. I hated leaving. May, my wife for two years was only 17, I was 19. I married her because she was the only thing close to a girlfriend I ever had. She had long black hair, green eyes, tan skin and a beautiful body. After scavenger training, I remember my instructor saying,
"any woman you want and she has to and you have to as well," he said,
"you must carry on your name for the future scavengers of the Tower."
I never knew why our colony was called the Tower. I mean 80 years ago when the war happened a couple of students just hung around in a school. The school was big, but 7 stories isn`t exactly a skyscraper in my opinion. We were the best though, probably because we raided any place with military tech in it and used it. I came to the gate I could hear a bird twitter and the air hit my face, it was only then I realized the coldness of the tears on my eyes. I was crying to with my May, but I quickly wiped them away so the squad wouldn`t see me.
" Don`t, don`t… leave," she sobbed hanging on to my jacket.
"I`ll be back," I lied.
I knew every season we left to scavenge was another season four of my twelve men would die ( what if one was me?). She calmly slipped away while I mounted my super stealthy vehicle for the apocalypse, a horse. I joined my group while May and several other wives waited at the steel-reinforced gate. Right as the door closed she tried to yell "I love you," but before I could say anything back the gate slammed shut by the honor guard. Another week in the ruined mutant infested, cannibal populated, rival settlements populated wasteland. Another week in Hell.

You have some pretty good ideas, I’ll give you that.
However, you have a few problems. Grammar’s first, though you know that. You also need to add in more description of the setting, though take out some description of May. I think it would be better to describe her when she actually begins to take a part in the story. Also, only give us the most important details – for example, any unusual features. Maybe oddly colored eyes, strangely long hair, a different skin texture, or just an uncommon beauty. Remember, sight isn’t the only sense, and good metaphors give more meaning to your words. Oh, and you also need to develop a voice. Right now it sounds like a teenager talking about their life, skipping over details and focusing on ones only important to them, being more wordy than necessary (which I think is going to be one of your biggest problems). And the reader doesn’t get a good sense of your character, which is important. You’ll need to edit this a bit.

Rey Mysterio-both tagged together (only to set-up the break up for the dirt sheet tag team ), on raw and ecw in 2008, 2009 draft they fought a great match together which was more of an out-do veteran vs rookie, fan vs wrestler thing which was great.

carlito-recently worked together on wwe superstars and raw very good worker with Bourne, their mone match on superstars is bombed with comments on here saying that it was "ppv-oppener" like.

Zack Ryder-he impressed me last night, he sold and took an amazing bumps both with the step-up

Faults

I agree. There is more to a wrestling WWE performance than what we see on TV. Evan Bourne will get his chance, but with such a big roster in the WWE, people have to wait their turn. Evan Bourne enjoys what he is doing and that is all that matters. Even if he loses, he still entertains me every time.

I know I can call my mentor with any questions I have but I feel like I don’t want to bug her too much.
I’ve been watching some of the training videos online on the Avon’s website called Beauty of Knowledge, and I am not finding the videos very informative or clear cut for a person just starting out.
I do have my webpage set up, and did tell her ( My Mentor ) that I was planning on advertising on Facebook, Myspace, MyYearBook, Craigslist, And the like, she also mentioned that Twitter would be a good place to advertise.

Well, my question really is, have you ever sold Avon? How easy is it? How did you get most of your knowledge about sales and how to go about selling? Did you like it? What did you not like about it?

I’m an Avon Independent Sales & Leadership Rep. I’ve currently been selling for 3 years and love it. Don’t feel bad about calling your Upline, that’s what she’s there for. She wants for you to be successful just as much as you do. Just find out the best times to get in touch with her or put together an email with your list of questions.

Avon is not hard to sell at all – you just have to find ways to get your name out that you’re selling. Your brochure is your store. So ordering 1 pack of 10 brochures isn’t going to get you very far. Buy as many as you can afford. You order them in packs of 10, so QTY of 1 = 10 brochures. You’ll want to remember that when submitting your order. If you put in 30 cause you want 30 brochures you’ll end up with 300. FYI – if you order in qty of 60 (120, 180, etc) they come in a nice small box.

An easy way to start getting customers is to get What’s New bags (door hanger bags) and hang brochures on doors. Maybe include a little note introducing yourself. After you have your brochures labeled and bagged it takes about 30 – 45 minutes to hang 100 brochures at an apartment complex. If you are pressed for time or have kids, which can make it hard to go from house to house, put the brochures in the What’s New bags and roll them like a newspaper and drive through a neighborhood (don’t forget your own) and toss them from the window. Takes about 20 – 30 min for 100 brochures.

Don’t forget to have your list of contacts started. Make sure EVERYONE you know knows you sell. All your friends, family, co-workers, cell phone contacts, email contacts. Even if they don’t buy now they probably will at some point. Just keep getting them the brochures.

I have also asked businesses about bringing in brochures or putting them out for other customers. Independently owned convenience stores are good ones. Laundry mats, dry cleaners, mail stores, restaurants.

Don’t be embarrased to give brochures to cashiers when you check out or leave one for your waitress or give them to the girls in the drive thru.

Direct Selling isn’t hard but if people don’t know you sell or you don’t continuously get your name out or redeliver brochures to customers who’ve ordered before you won’t do very well. Don’t worry about not knowing a lot right now. You’ll learn it. If someone has a question about a product, let them know you’re just starting out but you’ll look up the information and be happy to get back with them. They’ll understand.

You do want to get to know the products and wear them but you don’t have to go crazy at first (unless you can already afford it). If not, buy samples to try the skin care, make-up and lip sticks. When you order brochures, samples & demos don’t order more than you made in profit from the previous campaign. This way you are only spending business money and not personal money. When you do buy for yourself, treat yourself as any other customer and invoice yourself and pay out of your personal account.

Don’t buy extra products unless you know you can sell it. If you do order and can’t get it sold be sure to return it to Avon and get credit.

Open up a separate (doesn’t have to be a business account) checking account just for your business or get a pre-pay Visa from Walmart, the ones you can use to deposit money. Keep your business money and personal money separate.

Always pay your bill before you pay yourself.

A few reasons people do not stay:
1. They don’t do the work – be it fear or lack of effort
2. They don’t understand, don’t ask questions & don’t try to learn.
3. They spend the money collected from the sales on other things instead of paying their bill. When it comes time to pay their Avon bill they can’t afford to pay all of it or any of it and have a hard time getting caught back up.

The BoK videos will help and you can go back and watch them again if you want. Sometimes they make more sense the second time. Also, check out all the documents available under the Tools & Resources section of BoK.

Most of all – stay motivated! Write down your realistic goals (short term & long term). Make plans on how you will achieve each goal and then execute your plan. Read your goals every day. Keep them where you can see them. Make a vision board with pictures so you can keep in mine WHY you’re in business for yourself.
